just for my own info will that image work on all d****boxs or just the 500c?

Ok first things first. You will need a program called dreamup. I will post it in this link for you.

Then download this image. The null modem one. Save this to desktop.

You need to plug the null from the box to pc.

With the dreambox switched off start up dreamup program.

Then untick use network box. Then click connect. Startup the dreambox.

It will connect. The flash box will then open. Click this it will ask for image. The image you downloaded open that. Then it will flash the image to your box.

Get back to me once youve done this mate.

got the image on the box everything simple so far,
got to go back to m8 house to connect the box won`t have any pc there
so is there any thing else to look out for or is it just connect and turn on

As this is my m8 box and he hasn`t got a clue about it and i`m not very familiar with it, is there an easy way to organise channels favs etc?

There is a way mate. Its called Channel bouquets you can organize through the remote. Have a little play around with the image mate. Dont go into any setup settings or you might need the image again.

Yes i like the image. And i was aware it was fixed but in order to help i got the image from scratch ftp to the box and upload the au file through the addons section on the image. This gave me a working image. Then i uploaded it for these guys so that they could have a working fresh image. Most of these guys didnt know how to ftp to theyre boxes mate.

I never came accross the DW 2.0 image fully working before mate that is why i done this.

I fixed mine by adding the needed nagra 7 etc. But i thought i would do this for the more newbie end of the cable world.

Cheers Chris I done the same with TBC's ROM fix but both ROM 10 and 11 have also been added so will probably give it a whirl as I noted yesterdays early morning roll was ROM 10 although evocam worked with ROM 10 and 11 disabled.

ROM patch is just that and a new image is been debated to counteract future ECMs or future encryption upgrades by the CC.

FRESH INSTALL IMAGES I PROMISED

Ok Guys. Heres images for both null modem and flash wizard.

This is a fresh image not a backup of my box.

I started from scratch so it is just a working image.

The images have autoroll and have scanning for every service provider.

Once installed it will ask you to do a scan. There is a list of diffrent scan i.e uk, ntl ireland etc

Make sure you scan your area.

Once you have done this. select a channel wait at least 1 minute if the channel does not start press the blue button and press ok on evocam 2.12. This will start the cam. And you will get your channels.

This is a fix for everyone and especially the irish boxes so that you dont have the double channel problem

Sorry mate..rite when the code comes up you will see a cat. Within the letters and numbers have a look and the ones with the cat symbol in type into the box.

Thanks for the help lads. I did a new flash, scanned the channels, waited for one minute, pressed blue button - OK, i just get a blank screen, Channels are showing when i press OK but do not seem to e scrambled, Any help? N*L Ire.

There is 2 scans you can do NTL C*ble ie or NTL Irl Bruteforce. Try both
