I attempted to back-up a movie with EasyDivx b/c I thought it would be easy (I'm new - so please bare with me). Individually, the audio and video are great. But, they aren't synced. The first time I did it, the framerate was set to 29,976 fps. After reading many of the discussions on this site, I repeated the process, this time setting it to 23,976 fps. It's still off. I've spent most of the weekend (yes I need a life) playing with Virtual-Dub trying to get this to sync. I've searched the previous QAs on this site and I've not found an answer that works.

Here's what I can tell you and hopefully you can give me some advice:

- The movie length is supposed to be 1:53:36. The audio length matches this. The video length is 2:07:01. I can't figure out why or how to decrease this (I did play with the frame rate in Virtual-Dub, but the a-v still doesn't sync). So, what starts out to be a 30 second audio acceleration compounds into a 10 minute audio acceleration.

Can you help?????
