Its a fairly new labtop that I have and it used to play all kinds of DVDs - it kept telling me it will change regions x times - well now it shows 0 times and it gives me the message it only plays region 2. any ideas what I can do? And please be patient with me - I am new to all of this. I also have the Shrink and any dvd installed - and it used to work great ... before this region problem started. can I change settings somewhere? Thanks a lot!
Try this program: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/anydvd.cfm Anydvd pulls off the newer dvd and cd encryptions.It is also said that it makes your drive/s region free. There's a free 21 day trial. This is the only program that I paid for. There is currently a $5 discount through april 2 as a fellow AD member.
