My brother broke the laptop charger and ive been searching everywhere trying to find the same charger but I havent had any luck. I found one that was very similar on ebay.

    My laptop charger specs:
    INPUT: 100-240V~ 1.8A/50-60Hz
    OUTPUT: 19V-3.16A

    The one on ebay is:
    INPUT: 100-240V~ [bold]1.5A[/bold]/50-60Hz
    OUTPUT: 19V-3.16A

The 1.5A is the only difference.
Will that one from ebay work with my laptop?

    Thanks

I'm no electrician, but if it did work, it could damage your laptop. Not enough power could be a real bad thing, it might just everheat the charger and melt it, but then you'd be in the same boat. What kind of laptop? Have you tried the manufacturer website?

Well I got the laptop as a present so I dont have the receipt or anything but the Laptop manufacturer is ViewMaster (which I believe is the company that makes monitors). I havent been able to find their acutally offical site, the first link in Google after searching ViewMaster says 'Fisher-Price' but I cant access it, it takes ages to load.
