Hey, I have hardmodded XBOX and it is not working properly right now. If I am at the wrong forum please redirect me. Anyways, I have a chip that comes out of the box and you can see it in the front. It has three switches, Enable, Disable Bank 1, Bank 2 and Protect, Unprotect. When I boot up my xbox it either keeps trying to turn on and fails so it tries again and again, or if the switches are in a certain order it gives me error 05. Any help would be appreciated, and again if this is posted in the wrong forum just redirect me.

    Thanks

Turn it to bank 2 and flash your chip

set the switch enable, bank1. then what do you see if you turn on xbox?
set the switch enable, bank2. then what do you see if you turn on xbox?

set the switch disable. then you will see the error because the hdd is not lock. This is not the problems.

ok, now when i do what you guys say, it tries to boot up, flashes green once, then fails, then tries again, flashes twice, then fails, then tries again, and it keeps flashing green then red. I tried both Bank 1 and 2 with enable and protect and unprotect.

    hmm there are 2 cases:

    - xbox can't find dashboard on hdd.
    - bios is gone.

which logo do you see when the bios boots up with modchip on? it is between the big X and XBOX. LIke xecuter, microsoft.

After this, the light flash right?

See I'm very bad with the whole modding thing, so I don't know how to flash a chip, and I don't know about Bios. And when it boots up, nothing happens it just stays blank (AV in top left and black screen)nothing having to do with the XBOX.

when disabled nothing comes up in between the X and the XBOX and when enabled nothing boots up at all, the open button just flashes.

    there is 2 cases

    - The modchip may move inside the xbox. your xbox must been dropped or moved hard. Do you have solderless or pinheader or wires soldering for modchip?

    - Bios has been lost.

If the first case, then you can fix the xbox.
