Hi, I'm using a Pinnacle Video Collector 2000 capture card (I think), and the only way I can connect it to my VCR - and therefore my TV - is to use a small, black coaxial cable. It has one single, long, thick pin at one end and a hollow tube at the other end for the similar pin which sticks out of the back of the VCR. The problem is that this cable is about 1 foot long, and my PC isn't even on the same floor as my VCR. I keep having to haul the PC downstairs and set it up etc. So anyway, I was wondering if I'm right in saying that the cable I'm using is a coaxial cable with one M end and one F end. And if so, where can I buy a cable with the exact same connections at each end, but much longer (say 50'), since I've looked in a lot of places and can't find one. Do these cables even exist?
you can try just using regular cable and putting a butt connect on one end don't know for sure but worth a try
