Anybody help please, I convert an avi file to dvd format using win avi & it converts fine but when i open up dvd shrink & open the dvd folder it is blank. There are definitely things in the folder but for some reason dvd shink does'nt see that. Any help would be appreciated.

When you open the converted DVD file with Windows Explorer, what type of files do you have? You're supposed to have a Video_TS folder and inside that IFO, VOB, and BUP files. If you have those, then try VobBlanker or my favorite, FixVTS, to see if you can make the files DVD compliant.

By the way, I've heard some users complaining about WinAVI. I have it, ConvertXtoDVD and NeroVision 4. I've used the latter 2 with good results. I'm still not using the WinAVI enough to make a good judgment call on it yet.
