I have a downloaded video file that I am trying to burn for use on my stand-alone DVD player. The player is a Panasonic SA-HT05. I also have a Panasonic PV-D4745S. I used AVItoDVD to convert the AVI using the guide on this site and opened the resulting file with DVD Shrink and burned with Nero. I am using Verbatim DVD-R media. When I tried to play the resulting disc on both stand-alone players, I hear the audio, but I get an error message saying that the video format is not supported. Am I missing something, or am I just out of luck because of the stand-alone players I have? I would appreciate any help...

You are trying to burn a PAL movie (europe only) when you need NTSC (usa, asia). You will need to change that setting in WinAVI or use ConvertXtoDVD from VSO.

Thanks! After I posted the original thread, I figured out it was a Pal file. I'll try to adjust it in WinAVI
