I have a cd which contains the following files: An images folder with jpg's inside A single jpg Autorun.inf Shellout.exe and a htm file. I think I know what the shellout, inf and autorun are doing (they run the .htm to start the cd) but what is doing my head in is that the cd has a large audio track on it I want to copy that simply doesnt show up when I explore the cd. However it plays the track in a stereo cd player. Am I missing something obvious ? How can I copy the audio track if I cant see it !!!! Can anyone help?
just use some ripping (or burning) software and it will see it as an audio CD. essentially, if you try to browse the files on any audio CD with multi-media features on them (many bands are doing this now) the audio tracks will not be displayed in Explorer, but it can still be played as a normal audio CD in a media player.
Isobuster should see the whole layout. Just right-click on the audio tracks (you can recognize them easily) and select 'Extract'.
I didnt think to just open the cd using burning software, i thought some copyright protection was at work. I used Nero and it showed the audio track as you said. Thanks alot for your help, much appreciated.
