I have an xps400 - I have anydvd and slysoft - It manages to copy the cd - but it will not write it. I put in a Dvd+r and it says "Please insert a recordable DVD into drive e.... The writing bar says: waiting (drive not ready)... I don't think anyone has answered this problem - I want to see if anyone else has a resolution.
the firmware of your drive may need to be updated go to Firmwarepage,com you will need the model number of your drive
