tmpgenc freezes when adding video file

    whenever i try putting an avi file into the video source space it says can not open, or unsupported..so i change he environmental setting and make the priority to 2. after that i try adding a video file but once i select and press open tmpgenc just freezes.ive tryed with 3 different movies and i got the same results
