    Hi,

What's your AVS Options, and what are the best for HC Enc ?

After reading manuals, I think ConvertToYUY2() and AudioDub(BlankClip()) are useless and it seems it's better to enable MPG2SOURCE.

    Is this configuration ok?

    Thx

Jdobbs has beta's out the well let's just say this program has been thoroughly tested on many various machines using all encoders under the many various circumstances.

my reccomendation is alway's trust the defaults until trouble arrises, feel free to tinker but remember your defaults in case you experience problems w/ your settings.

the easiest way to reset defaults sometimes is to do a complete reinstall as there are a lot of switches and buttons that may have been changed.

are you having a specific problem w/ hc??

I've no problem but I try to save time by enabling/disabling some options.

there will be speed differences using different idct settings (skal) is a good one for testing, the audio blank is not a nessecity w/ hc.
convert to yuy2 is neccesary for some encoders (cce 2.70 & procoder2 for sure) hc can handle yv12 scheme but it should not help w/ speed ??does it??

one thing that will slow you down is leaving a filter or two in place when not needed,by mistake =)

just remember what you tinkered w/ if trouble should arrise before reporting bugs
