Help with DVD Burner Please

    Hey guys, i have a Maxtor 6Y080L0 DVD Recorder and when i burn DVDs or anything it always takes so damn long to burn, it takes a couple hors, most of the time i just leave it on while i sleep it takes soo long. I am using Nero to burn. Anyone have any suggestions??
