Could someone please help me. I hooked the matrix programmer up to the parallel port, downloaded evox d6 blue, clicked program with winlpc, selected my bios .bin file, hit open, and I got the message "error programming LPC". The light is red on the chip. Is this right? Maybe a bad file? Any comments appreciated.

I also had problems flashing my Matrix chip.
You need to unplug the programmer and then
keep putting it back in and eventually it
should work. It took me at least 15 times
    until it programmed correctly.

you may need to pinch together the chip to the programmer when you are writing the bios to the chip. I had to do this to make it work with several different programmers.. that should help it out.

but then again, you might be one of the lucky ones like myself that got a bad chip. I got mine from easybuy2000.com a couple of months ago. I couldn't get any of the 8 PC's i tried to connect to the programmer. after raising hell with the site, they sent me a new programer but i got the same results. then i sent my chip and programmer to seamonkey420. this dude rocks with xbox modding, and he determined that it wasn't the programmer but a bad chip. now i'm waiting for my replacement. hopefully you'll get it going, but i think there might have been a bad batch of chips made because a friend of mine got his chip from the same lot that i did and his was also bad. hopefully you wont have my luck, but it's possible.

I also bought my chip (with programmer) from Easybuy2000.com When I ordered it they said it was in stock but I still had to wait another month. They never even sent e-mail and I had to call them up and they gave me the sad story about the supplier not having enough materials to make the chips.
