Generally places that replace laptop screens charge most of what a new laptop would cost. Tbh you're really looking at a new laptop.

hey there looks like I'm in the same boat. My screen is labelled 3620 but I think the machine is advertised as a 3627WXMi. The only site I've found that stocks these screens is www.screentekinc.com but the url hasnt been working today. The screens were around $680. There were instructions on how to replace screens somewhere on this site aswell. good luck. I'm assuming (although not sure) that is US dollars which would make the cost of the new lcd nearly the same as a new laptop. I'm from Perth Australia, so I'm possibly looking at a 2nd hand off ebay.

I take that back both LCDs4less.com and screentekinc.com are offering "3600 series" laptop screens and instructions on how to replace them prices for similar screen are around $475, approx 650 AUS which isnt anywhere near as bad as I thought the exchange rate might be. I'll be giving them a call.
