FourCC Settings?

I downloaded a movie and played it on divx, and divx said somthing about fourcc "0" and i was trying to find some program to fix this when i looked at my k-lite codec pack and found fourcc code changer. but from here on i am clueless on what to do to make the video work? anyone have any ideas
