I have two different s-vcd movies, and i'm wondering if it is possible to burn those on the same DVD, an put a menu on the disc, so that I can play both movies with my regular DVD player on my TV. Does anyone know about that?
SVCD is incompatible with DVD as it uses an invalid resolution. However there is a handy programs called SVCD2DVDMPG that can alter the video header thus fooling programs into thinking the video is a valid resolution. After doing this you can use whatever authoring program you use to add menus and then go from there to burning a disc.
Okay, after having a look at it, I really really don't know what to do. How can I determine if I have a VCD or a Super VCD? All I know is, that in my BIN file, there are four folders: EXT MPEGAV SEGMENT VCD Now, what I am thinking is that the video could be a VCD format, because of the last folder being named 'vcd' and not 'svcd', but I really don't know anything about this stuff. Second problem is, that I don't know if I should choose BIN -> PS or BIN -> ES. I don't know if NERO will take an MPEG program stream, or an MPEG elementry stream. Then comes the Horizontal Res patch value. I'm sorry, but I have NO IDEA what this means. Will someone please take the time to explain? Sorry about the crappy english - i'm from denmark.
