Is this processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103531 the same as the processor in this machine? http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid...1/rpem/ccd/productDetailSpecification.do#tabs
@ The_OGS So ur saying that the HP Computer has the exact same processor that I listed? If I installed a video (graphics) card in the HP Computer would it be a good gaming computer?
well the first one is a tiny bit better ....because it has 1MB cache But i don't think it will make a difference
Both CPUs are Athlon64 3800+ (Venice) with 512KB cache. Hey that's cheap for the whole PC eh Spyder22; $600 bucks or whatever... But, it doesn't say what motherboard/chipset, or socket (assuming S939), what powersupply, etc. I expect nVidia chipset since it has onboard nVidia graphics, so could be okay rig - and should work excellent for gaming with a nice 7900GTX or ATI 1900, LoL :^) I'd say that PC is a pretty good deal - can't go wrong with those parts for that price. And you could ease into it gradually, y'know? Use the PC at first with the onboard graphics, while saving up for the vidcard you desire... Regards
Oops i didn't read the post right..I just saw the post and thought he meant the other 1 was 1MB LOL.....I should of checked the link......LOL Or i need to read better
What about this rig http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-P...47561/catOid/-12962/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do would this be good for gaming??
Yea i say that is better than the others..But why not build your own PC that way you get what you want? It's not hard at all
