I am runining out of space here on my computer and right now i have no money to buy a new hdd. I have my factory xbox hhd sitting around here and i was just wondering if i could installed this to my computer and use this as a backup drive for storing my extra data? The factory drive is only like 40gb if i could remember correctly. Also could i just erase all the xboxs data that on it?

No the Xbox HDD is only like 10 or 12 gig....I don't think it is worth it because it will just slow down your PC..Plus if you use it your xbox won't be able to run again....check http://www.tigerdirect.com for HDD they are relitively cheap especially with the rebates

i agree, it is like 8MB so there is not enough space on it to really store much of anything.
Just wait for a good deal on a hard drive with at least 80gb of space.
