If you browse at the DVD-RB site under the FAQ, you'll eventually find your answer there.

    http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=FAQ&myfaq=yes&id_cat=1&categories=

You would still need need DVDDecrypter or DVDFabDecryptor to rip your DVDs because DVD-RB will not deal with copy protection.

Don't forget to look around at that site. You might find other usefull things there.

soberfree- That's basically it. You need the encoder to shrink the movie down. I usually use Quenc. Once rebuilder finishes (hours later) you will be able to burn the new video_ts folder and enjoy your movie.

imo there is a huge difference, so uch so that I use hc quite frequently as opposed to quenc which I haven't used since innitial testing, although I've heard there has been improvement hc is pretty well highly regarded as the best of the free encoders ( there are those who preffer it over the commercial ones)

@ blinkN family guy rocks!! =)

I think "huge" is a bit of an overstatement. The quality difference seems nominal, while Quenc is faster and has some features that HC lacks. Don't get me wrong, I like HC, nothing at all wrong with it.

I know it's been a while since I've used quenc probably over a year, and I've noted some updates I guess it's time for this old dog to learn some new tricks.
