hi, i just bought this card. can anyone please tell me asap wot the minimum system requirements are for this card??? i would like to get everything ready before my graphics card arrives. i bought a X850xt 256mb agp for £180. thanks for any help. links would be excellent. regards.
Can't find too much on that card which shows any system spec's. Basic though are: 1: AGP x8 slot at 1.5volt. 2: Good PSU to supply extra power to card, with spare molex connector. You may find that your CPU will be where the system bottoms out, not the card, so maybe think of closing any unused apps when gaming and possibly getting a sound card (to increase sound quality and free cpu resources from sound processing). Also when I had the X800XTPE, the stock fan was very noisey, maybe look at getting one from Arctic who make good ATI coolers. Sorry can't help more!
thanks for the info. u state agp x8 slot at 1.5 volts. - how do i check this. just to let u i have a agp 3 x8 slot. i had a 250 watt power supply. now i upgraded to a 400watt power supply which should be fine. i have got 512mb of ram. i will be more than appy to add another 1gb or even 2gb needs. i have just re-installed windows and formatted ard-drive due to hard-drive problems. so at the moment i have been really only putting on careful programs which i really need. i have plenty of ram left and usually never open other programs while playing games, not even downloading programs. i eliminate strat-up problems which prevent my pc from loading faster. and can u give me a picture of a molex connector. is it a cable with a plug which is white with 4 holes in it??? thanks for the help so far.
