I've backed up a lot of movies before, so I'm positive I'm doing it right. I used decrypter first, and then opened the files in shrink to encode/burn. it got all the way to 100% encoding, and then I get an error. "dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Programming error - exception occurred" does anybody know what's going wrong?
Which movie is giving you this problem? It sounds like there's a file it can't handle. You can also try ripping w/ dvdfab decrypter then usual shrink as usual. Here's a link: http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
six feet under first season 1 disc 3.. disc 1 & 2 backed up fine. I'll try to decrypt using dvdfab and post back rather it worked or not. thanks.
Glad it worked out! Since Shrink and Decrypter are no longer updated - still great to have - DVDFab Decrypter had stepped in to fill the 'void'.
