    greetings,
i seem to have developed a problem on dvd-rb pro 1.09 or i'm missing a step somewhere. i tried searching several pages in the forum for the answer and thought i saw a similiar issue but unfortunetly. i cant find the posting anymore.. anyway, here goes: i rip the dvd w/ dvdfab decrcypter (seems ok) then send thru dvdrb pro w/ HCmode enabled and everything appears fine and dvdrb completes the rebuild w/ np. then im changing to iso image using folder2iso which appears ok / then launching dvd decrypter to burn iso image (also ok)...but, whenever i attempt playback it auto opens folder to display a few dozen .bup and .ifo files and nothing else. I know this covered somewhere else and its' only 2nd time trying dvdrb but i followed the guide step for step what am I missing ???

    thanks, tdm08

If you are using the pro version of RB why don't you create your iso file with RB, instead of using folder2iso. RB will then automatically burn with Decrypter if you direct it too.

I started out using dvd-rb (free) which didn't have the ISO option - and i just basically keep forgetting to check/use the 'output to iso image' in dvd-pro both times ive used it. I will retry using the dvd-pro iso option on next attempt (tonite). i did find several threads on 'folder2iso' issues / maybe a folder2iso problem ???

Try it with the RB iso option, it should work out better :)

arnie's suggestion is the way to go, folder2iso has some difficulty making picky players happy.

where is you folder2iso output @ because you will not be able to open an iso to view the contents you can only mount it and view it w/ a player. you may not have to re-do the encode if you find the iso created by folder2iso, but don't bank on this method being fail proof

imgtool classic does a nice job creating iso's for freeware users that happen upon this thread I've not read one problem related to it (knock on wood)

I have to agree with L8ter on using ImgTool, it would be a much better program than Folder2iso. Here is a guide that shows it, and the use with Decrypter. Just scroll down the page as there are several programs listed.
