The PC may be so old that they've re-used that model number! Realistically though you're not looking at much of an upgrade before you can't go any further with your existing platform. You may as well get another, really.
sammorris, doubt very much is a recycled #. it almost seems he is posting 2 different computers as he states 1st 1 has 128 meg ram with 20 gig hd but the log shows 1gig of ram & 200gig hd.
The e machine he's posting is about a year and a half old if it's the one with the nero Id. I'm wondering if he means a floppy drive since it didn't come with one in that machine.But he's also showing a lite on dvd burner.It's a first int mobo that came with it so mobo been swapped out.A little bit clearer infos needed here. nightfox All that we needed was your motherboard make (sisoft can usually identify it) and the model of your processor. As someone has already stated it's probably not worth the cost to upgrade and old system, but that doesn't mean that it can't be upgraded using technology that's contemporary with your rig.
