Create High quality dvd

    Hi im kinda new to burning dvds now i have a question here..uhm when i burn a diivx movie or whatever artifacts always show up sound is smushy and the color loses alot of its vibrent ness is their a software or tool or anything i can do to like fix it ,filter it or like re-master it?

    Often the AVI files one gets is degraded from the original source and it can't be improved. There's some Avisysnth filters that may mask a few of the problems (Undot, Deen) but overall, the problems will be there when you do conversions. Check the AVI sources before conversion to see what they look like. Poor quality in is going to mean poor to worse quality out.

    thats why i dont download movies the poor quality isnt worth it amoung other things. wait till the dvd comes out then backup the movie is your best bet

    Hey uhm i have been using this software that filters and fixes mpeg and avi movies and is compleatly free i tried it and it worked have any of you tried it? its called VirtualDub 1.4 and seems pretty good
