[GUIDE] STEP BY STEP - HOW TO INSTALL XBMC! LOOK HERE! **UPDATED**

i have been searching and searching but i have not found a tut on how to load XBMC under the Apps menu on my modded xbox... please help... if you have a STEP BY STEP - HOW TO INSTALL XBMC! tut that i can follow please post it, thank you!

yeah, i know ftp... do you know where i can locate a guide to have XBMC run from my Apps menu?

 

If you know how to ftp then connect your xbox to pc,I use flash fxp myself.The username and password are both xbox.Once connected open the E: folder,then open the Apps folder.Have XBMC in a folder named XBMC on your pc and drag and drop it into the apps folder on xbox.I have to turn my xbox off then on again for the ftp'ed folder to show up.
If you have an auto installer disc just install XBMC to E: off it.

 

which dashboard do you have?

 

@Voodooz, i kno how to get the files from my PC to my xbox... but when i did it it never works for me... i will try agian but voodooz if you already have a working version can you send me a direct link to the ALL the correct files that i need to FTP to my xbox... i would really appreciate it... if you cant post the link here, can you PM me for other means of contact... thanks in advance...

ok ftp evox.ini to pc then open it with notepad and paste the code here
I fix it. and it will load xbmc.

By the way, ftp xbmc to apps folder on Xbox.

 

where do i find evox.ini, and also i am having trouble copying some files to my xbox from the XBMC folder, like 13 files under the skin area wont copy.... please help...

One more thing. where is your xbmc on the xbox?
So I can make a code.

 

i put it under the apps folder on my e drive... right beside DVD Region X & DVD 2 XBOX folders... also is it normal for 16 (sometimes 13) of the XBMC files my PC to not copy to the xbox when i FTP the whole XBMC foler to my apps folder on the E Drive of my XBOX...

 

NO it is not good. Everything should copy. Try to ftp it to Root of C instead. so you have:

C:/XBMC/

Insert this line of code to evox.ini then save it. Backup the old one some where on PC. the ftp this over xbox and overdrive the old one

sorry i left for a little bit, and just got back, so what ur sayin is to backup the old evox.ini, right? or the C:\XBMC\default.xbe.... im gonna try it... and also will this make it come up under my apps folder?

 

delete the XBMC in apps folder on E drive because it does not have complete files.

 

i already deleted them.... but the script you gave me shows me XBMC as an option when i load up evox... so i can select it under my Launch Menu option... but when i select it... it gives me an error message that reads....
