haveing trouble with packet loss

    is it possible to test your packet loss percent or have a program do it for you if so please help

    try pinging 68.142.226.48 (yahoos ip)in the command prompt.
    so type in..

    ping 68.142.226.48 -n 15 <-----15 is how many times you want it to ping the site. That is up to you.

    then look at the stats and see what the packet loss is and what your average milli second is. avg. millisecond should be around 19 or so.anything above 23 is getting bad but can go up to about 35.
