Haya, i got a new case for my PC, i managed to install everything into my new case ok, problem is that the out USB, Firewire, Head phone and Mic ports i cant fit onto my m/b because i cant tell what order the connectors go in, because its a different layout to my old cases out ports. Also when i turned my PC on after installing it into my new case i blew up the rear Speaker, Mic in etc sockets, they actually exploded. Both these things dont bother me too much, but i was wondering can you get USB alternatives, like something that plugs into the USB port and has the sockets on it etc? i think you probably cant because they connect in differetn ways. But because i dont know for sure i thought i'd ask, so anyone know?

You mobo should come with the connectors or w/e so it would fit on your case

edit:Or if you didn't get a new mobo take the The fitting from your old case

@tocool4u, on my old case it was plugs, on this new case it all the seperate little black connectors and they have to go in a certain order ans i cant work it out.

@byron02, yeah, it went PSHH and there was a massive spark and then smoke and it stank aswell.

Yeah you can buy a PCI card to plug in that carries 2 or 4 usb ports for lie $20.00. Look in a mobo book for the front plug ins as there pretty much standard as far as configuration. Chris
