When i switch the damn thing on, it sounds an alarm at intervals. Don't know what's going on. Please help me.
Is this a new build or a previously working system? If the latter, have you made any (no matter how small) changes to either the hardware or software? Has it been dropped or knocked? Is everything like keyboard monitor plugged in correctly? Wha signs of life do you get? The more answers, the quicker you'll get a suggestion that cures the problem.
how many beep & is there a pattern to those beeps? any thing on screen? what is the bios manufacturer as in award, ami or what?
Thanx for replying guys. The fault has been found, it turned out to be a defective DRAM slot on the motherboard. Thanx again anyway.
