iso to mp4 conversion

    hi all, is there a program that will do a direct convertion between a 4.7gb iso image file and an mp4 format video (hopefully alot smaller)?
    ive got all these movies in iso format stored on my computer and i just got a mp3/mp4 player of about 1gb capacity. probly not even worth it compressing them that much, i know, but i want to show off...thanks

    Not sure if anything will deal directly with an ISO, but you can always mount the image.

    I don't know there be a software can directly convert .iso to .mp4.
    Maybe it needs a middle step.

    I would mount the image using either Alcohol 120%, Nero Image Drive, or Daemon Tools, (as suggested by celtic_d) and then use Nero Recode to convert to Nero Digital mp4. It will be well under 1GB.
