I'm building a new pc. I have the options of Raid 0,1,0+1. I have read articles (including a thread or two on afterdawn) but am still a bit confused. Can someone explain to me the pros and cons of each. What is better for someone who will be doing video editing, music recording/editing and (lots and lots) of gaming?

Umm do you have more than one drive?..I would use RAID 0...but correct me if i am wrong...RAID 0 is striped....So it will make faster performance...But you need more than 1 HDD

Yes I'm sure you always need more than 1 drive and I believe that you also need a Raid Card? Heres the specs I'm looking at

Asus A8N-SLI Motherboard (supports RAID 0,1,0+1)
Rosewill RC-200 IDE HD Controller (supports RAID 0,1,0+1 and supports Ultra ATA 33/66/100/133)
(Two) Seagate Barracuda 160GB/7,200 rpm HD (interface IDE Ultra ATA100).

I understand that mirroring basically copies one drive onto the other but I am unsure about striping.
