Can anyone tell me the difference between the two options Nero gives me when converting an AVI movie so I can burn onto DVD media?

    The options are:

LPCM or Dolby Digital (AC-3) 2.0

The LPCM makes the file size much larger and I'm just wondering if it's justified. I don't know what the difference is between the two.

LPCM = Linear Pulse Code Modulation

It's popular mostly for music with 8 channels, etc. Your PC or DVD player must be able to support it. For your basic DVD, AC-3 is your friend. :)
