OK someone asked this qusetion in a different thread that was closed shortly after and didn't look like he ever got an answer, and I'm having the exact same problem except I'm using a v400. Hello all, this is clearly a software problem. I have a new V323 (nice phone BTW) and installed MPT 4.0 on windows XP. It works until I go to multimedia and click on anything in my phone files. It freezes and disconnects from my phone, requiring an unplug and reboot to do anything again. I can transfer music and photo files to the phone but cannot send photos from the phone to the PC. I spent a very long time and finally was able to fix my problem. It would seem that two things were going on, one - for some reason the file transfer page never did work correctly for my pictures and I still have no idea why. Secondly, I discovered that I must have had too many pictures and the phone would timeout after so long while the list was trying to be retrieved (I had about 250 pictures). I deleted about 30 of them, and was able to see them in the photo editor thing under "My Phone" or whatever it is in the Mobile Phone Tools. I hope this ends up helping someone.
