I just built my new computer, and I wasn't having any problems until recently. My computer would boot up in low(4-bit) color, and resolution of 640 x 480. I would try and change it in Display properties, and it would act like it changed, bringing up the text box that says, do you want to keep these changes... reverting in 14, 13... etc. But if I click ok, it just stays the same at 4-bit 640 x 480. It did it once before, and I restarted my computer and it worked fine. I'm going to keep messing with it and restarting, see if I can get it to work. Let me know if you have any ideas.

EDIT: When I run ATI tool, it says:
I went there and there is no place for "enable monitor output" or anything like that.

EDIT: You know I really hate it when you work on something for hours and then it fixes itself. I love that it decided to fix itself, but comeon. Then I never found a solution. I wonder what went wrong.

I get that too, it's just ATItool messing up. If the problem's fixed, fingers crossed!
