Hi there, I am new to this site and dvd convertion subject, 'nOOb alert' . I tried to find the answer to this in forum search but couldnt find anything. I already converted a movie from avi to dvd (vob and ifo files) and its in my hard drive. I used winavi and it finished the job in under an hour! Then i opened nero startsmart, and clicked on make your own dvd. I added the files there, but Nero tells me It has to convert the files again before burning. I know I can burn the vob files with nero burning rom, but my question is, do I have to use nero to convert, if i want to creat menus with nero? Can't I use different prgram to convert then add menus? Any help would be appreciated.
I've read the guide and everything, but when i add vob files to nero vision project it starts decoding again, so does that mean I have to pick between winavi's speed and and nero vision's menu making capability. (and the only reason i add files to nero vision before burnning is so i can add menus, winavi is fast but can't make menus with it, am I correct?) So is there a way to add menus quickly to files AFTER or BEFORE they are converted with WINAVI? Thanks in advance
