Do you need windows updates. Say you dont update your windows. Are you still secure enoough? Is there anything else you can do to be secure without windows updates? Just curious

Without patching your Windows operating system, you leave yourself open to code written to take advantage of vulnerabilities.

Is there anything else you can do? Sure, use a different operating system...but even those have updates. :)
