My PC no longer recognizes my CD drive or even the DVD drive. It says it has successfully loaded the Device driver but cannot find the hardware device Code 41. Please Help! What do i do
I don't have an answer for you per se except that this is what happened to me when my CD died. Again, this may not be the issue at all and those more knowlegiable than I can surely help you better. But I was having fits. Question: How old is your drive?
You might want to try making sure your cable is secure. Or go to your CD manufature's sight and run their diagnistic tools. By the way, just because it is only 2 years old doesn't mean it can't fail on you.
