I need help really badly with my new verto 128mb geforce 5500 pci graphics card.i have instaled it properly i think since i can see thi8ngs in the load up screen on my comp but once it starts to load the desktop it just stays lit but black on the screen and i can here things on the desktop like the clicking of my mouse or the loading of something and all the other noises i just cant see ne thing. Please help me i have wanted to get this thing instaled for a long time now
If you need ne of my comp info i can relay that info to u if it is needed to see what i did wrong or what the problem is. Any help[ at all is apreciated.
I installed A BFG nVidia Geforce 5500 OC for my computer, I had the same problem, Did you hook your monitor to the card, if not I had the same problem, I just kept restarting my computer an it finally worked, maybe try to make sur the other card is turned off/disabled or that it is securely in place.
