SoundBlaster Audigy cards are good for 5.1 surround.

I didn't see anything that would make it stand out against a SoundBlaster Audigy card, in the same price range. I didn't go to Audigy's site, and compare though. I just know about mine

My Audigy 2 ZS Platinum sound card has more. My Audigy is capable of playing DVD-A, 5.1 surround music discs. Neither of those can play DVD-A discs. But, my Audigy costs a little more. Mine sold for $200 on sale. Got it at Circuit City, Xmas before last.
