Can anyone tell me how to fix the following problem? When I open DVD Decrypter i imediatley get the following error message. "access violation at address00000001. read of address 00000001." I can't use the program.
Yes I have, but i still get the same results. i even used registry mechanic and then restarted my comupter and still the same results. i keep getting a ton of the error mesages with different address that are in error. this happened all of a sudden with out any warning. it only happens on dvd decrypter, not on shrink.
Could be the copy protection on the DVD that causing it to shutdown, Try an older or an unencrypted DVD to test this theory. You could try ANYDVD as the decrypter and not use DVD decrypter, Anydvd works well with DVD shrink and you can copy from the DVD without having to first copy to the hard disk. i'm also now getting another error message when i start up dvd decrypter. i get this " interface thread runtime exception. message = EAccess violation. help please
i tried your sugestion and tried a decrypted older copy and dvd decrypter worked fine. it must be that they are using new copy protection now. the 3 moveis i tried were Narnia, the great raid and memoirs of a geisha. dvd decrypter would not work on these.
