I need Help When I Downloaded the Xbox360 Merger It was in Rar Format And Wouldnt work could someone tell me where to dowload the right file

Ok,
I open a game image file in ss merger,
i check the md5
and the box called "Currnet SS" gets filled with numbers and letters,
does that mean my game is pre patched?

Hello im new here and i need some help pleeeeeeeease. i got my xbox 360 flashed with firmware and i can play the backups now. Can someone tell me how to copy these backups. what type of dl+ disc do i need? what program, what dl burner? what speed to burn it on.i have a samsung burner with ridata dl+ disc and i tryed and the disc just keep not working. please help me out.

correct, pioneer's auto bitset dual layer media to dvd-rom

Dear People of XBOX 360 expertise,
I just bought my Xbox 360 and its a region locked to PAL european.
Can my xbox 360 play games downloaded and burned frm the net without being MOD?
what is a mod-chip?
well what should i do in order my xbox 360 will play all those games i download and burned to a cd ?
i cant understand how this thing works?
can n e one help me on this?

i've got a game of origin : PAL
the game is not patched with ss.bin yet...
im planning to make it run on an NTSC-U machine
its possible cause the game is regionfree
.
.
should i patch it with NTSC-U or PAL ss.bin ????

EDIT OUT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
You need a mod yes. Either a mod chip or the firmware mod.
(Different drives need diff firmware)
You have to open up your xbox therefore voiding warranty if you want to mod it
The games will be burnt to DVD+R DL, id use verbatims (no coasters!)
The best drive to use for burning Xbox 360 games is the PIONEER 111D
Unlike PS2 you can not play NTSC games on a PAL console etc etc
Now search up on google for more indepth xplantations and you'll be amazed inhow much you will find out

An already made backup?
Im assuming you made a backup just ready to burn no need ot patch? rite?
If the game is pre patched just use clonecd, or dvddecrypter (change layerbreak though)
If it isnt pre patched you will have to download the ss.bin
Patch the game using SSMerger
Burn using clonecd/ DVD Decrypter (change layerbreak)
Simple

you need to flash your dvd drive w/ a hacked firmware, you don't need a chip...
use this tutorial to flash your drive

Why do you people flash your 360 if you don't know what you are doing? Just keep reading tutorials and such and that wasy you waon't have any questions... Its not that hard really but all these questions from noobs get worse and worse. No the firmware won't allow you to play games from a different region unless it is region free. Also, there isn't such thing as a modchip for the 360 yet, it is just a chip to modify the DVD roms firmware just like the firmware hack. You also don't need to buy any specific DVD burners now, almost any of them will work just as long as they can burn DVD+R DL disks. Its really just as simple as going to xbox-scene's forums and go to the 360 DVD drive fimrware hack forum and just read a few of the tutorials in the stickys. And if you have issues with the firmware and coaster and such you can ask questions there. If you want a more technical reading on it I suggest xboxhacker.net, but sometimes the mods and other people can be assholes just like me we just get SICK of noobs.

Hello,I bouth before 2 days xbox 360 with chip (globe 360) PAL.
now i finished download Rainbow six vagas (PAL).
its became on rar files,so i opened it.
now,i got 2 file: .DVD (7GB) and image file (1KB)
can i just burn the game now with CloneCD?

Yes, just use clonecd to burn disc at @2X speed, in your folder you should have 2 files, when you open Clonecd click on the 'DVD' file that will load the other one.

Hey guys. I'm wondering whether or not if I should buy an xbox 360. I read somewhere that the new revisions are somehow glued and you can't take it apart w/o messing it up. Is that true? Also is there cracked firmware for the new revisions if I but one soon? Or no? I just want to be able to play burned. Don't care about online.

can anyone help?
iv ripped the game using wxripper and i have a perfect iso file
when burning that file it was ureadable by the xbox so i researched a little more and found out about SS Merger
I downloaded several versions of this and they all come up with the same error, cannot conntect to database.
is there any other way of patching the iso?
or is there a way in which this software can work

the wxripper+ss_merger+isobuilder is the 100% sure way to make your own backup of original 360 to work...

follow-up this guide step by step and forget the "Normal Way" and use the "Long But Reliable Way" under "Burning The Game" chapter.
verify that the filesize of your iso's are the same as indicated on the guide.
this method take up to 2:30hours to be done, but will be successful.
