I just bought an external dvd burner and i was wondering if i could take a dvd directly from my external and burn an exact copy to my internal burner without saving it to my hard drive? let me know thanks
currently i just use dvd shrink and dvd decrypter. if i have problems using dvd shrink i sometimes use dvd fab to burn onto the hard drive. I just bought the external drive yesterday so i have never used dual drives
You cannot do an on the fly burn with those two programs. You can dl the demo ver of Nero 7band try the feature out, although doing it this way can cause errors, and you have to be sure your disk will fit, i.e. dvd single layer to dvd single layer. With Shrink and Decrypter you have to put the image on the HDD and then burn. You can rip with one and just have it go over to the other burner to burn.
I have the same qusetion sort of... I have 2 burners, My some of my backups are getting used ALOT (5 year old) Before thay are trashed I'd like to make anouther back up. Can I make a backup from a backup on the fly? And is Nero the way to go?? Thanks in advance LD
I have done on the fly burning using both Nero and Clone, it is fast but usually I will Let Nero temporarily put the image on the computer and then let it copy. It is you option.
