I have a file that is an image file and want to play it on a stand alone dvd. Is there a way to convert img file or mds file into iso or how do I play it on a stand alone dvd?

An image file is pretty much an ISO file. All you need to do is open up your burning software whatever you use and choose to burn an image and choose the image file to burn.

I have burnt several copies but htey won't play on a stand alone dvd. Weather it is dw-r or dv+r. It only plays on the pc. Is there a way that I can burn and get vobs or ts. Not sure what I am doing.
    Thanks

It clould be possible that they are AVI format. Download ISOBuster from the link below. This will let you load the Image file into ISOBuster and extract whatever files are in it. Maybe you dont have DVD compatible files that will play on your DVD standlaone player.

    http://www.isobuster.com/

Also you should bebale to put in the DVD you burnt the files onto and browse the disc to see what files are on it.
