AnyDVD/CloneDVD question

If I download these 2 programs are there any other programs that I will need? Will CloneDVD actually burn the disk from my hardddrive or will need another program like Nero? Sorry to ask such a basic question but I'm having heck trying to find a combination to work without using Nero (which I don't have)

 

Thoses two programs are all you need to successfully backup your DVDs.....

 

Thank you so much for your quick response. I intend to go to my laptop and download CloneDVD right now. You saved me!!! I'll gladly spend the money when my trial is up if it will fix all the drama I've had with DVD Decrypter and Shrink on my desktop.

Well with Nero you can download it for free but you are limited on what you can do without paying.

That's a great guide that aabbccdd recommended. I use AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 about 98% of the time I burn and I have had no problems. I used bbmayo's guide (plus 1 from ScubaPete) when I first started.

O/T, but has anyone heard anything else from ScubaPete?

Interestingly enough I found aabbccdd's instructions before I ever posted this to the forum. I used his instructions on my first burn on Friday night and it worked like a champ. Great instructions!!!! I've already passed them on to friends. You guys are the best!!!

 

kpozzi ,great glad it worked out also remember to use good blank media (Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim)NO memorex!!! and dont burn at max. speed set it at 4x or 8x depending how good your machine is. keeping your PC clean helps lots to (disc cleanup and defragging often)and update your firmware on your drive too.and you will be good to go
