I used to be able to configure it, but when I added a netgear router to this computer it told me to switch it to bridge mode because of my speedstream 5100b modem. Then I took off ppoe and it went to bridged mode. then i logged into 192.168.1.1 and it configured my connection and now im back online. Does anyone know why I can't get to the site 192.168.0.1? I don't know what happpened? Thanks.

Are you having problems with your access to the internet? When I switched from modem to cable with a router my did the same thing. No problems.

No, i can connect to the internet, but that's the site that sbc yahoo dsl gave me to change the connection settings. Now I can't go get into it. I think it might be the PPOE that I closed, but I don't know what to do to re-enable it.

Have you disconnected your router and modem for about 5 seconds and then plug them back in? This is how I got them to reset and work properly. Otherwise call up the tech service.
