i got a problem of my ipod video..its just 1 month old.. my ipod won't turn on. i tried to reset, nothing happens.. i thought its out of battery. i tried to connect to the pc via usb 1.1 but to no avail.. its not charging.. tried to use a usb power adapter for charging, still the same thing, it won't charge..nothing appears in the screen. im lost.. any suggestion?

before this problem occured.. while using my ipod, it suddenly shut down. i was able to fix it by resetting.. i was able to play for a few hours afterwards and i believe the battery ran out while playing.. then from that time on, i was not able to turn it back on.. i tried resetting, toggling the hold button, tried to charge using usb 1.1
and power adapter, nothing happens.. its just a plain blank screen..

    can u help with this?thanks..

I would think it's probably a battery fault. I suggest you send it to Apple for a service & possibly a replacement battery. This should all be free of charge if you are still under warranty.

battery problem? if dats d case i got a defective unit since its still relatively new. i charged it for less than 10 times when the problem occured. for servicing, i hav a major problem. this unit was bought in california and brought to the philippines. there's no apple store nearest to my area..

so no other possible troubleshooting steps? the problem is sending to them since my iPod is bought halfway across the world and no nearest apple service center here..

Sorry, but it appears you have a 'dead iPod', so I cannot think of any reasonable troubleshooting steps.
