Anyone have any comments on these two. I bought Derailed a few days ago and have been trying to back it up ever sense. My usual DVDDecrypter, DVDFabDecrypter, PGCEdit, DVDShrink all failed. I downloaded trials of AnyDVD+CloneDVD2 from Slysoft and it failed on the full DVD but did get the main movie. Then I discovered that there was another DVDClone from DVD X Studios. I downloaded this as well and it did the whole DVD, although it seems interminably slow. The X Studios one doesn't get much mention in the forums. I am posting in this section because I always feel like a newbie when things don't work.
I don't know anything about DVDClone from DVD X Studios, but I know CloneDVD2 will back up Derailed with no problem. I did movie only and full disc. I did a search for DVD X Studios and came up with this page. http://www.dvd-copy-specialists.com/reviews/clonedvd_dvdxstudios.html According to this is does not compress. Did you use a dual layer disc, or did you use another compressing program.
