   i am currently trying to update the firmware for my dvd rw
   but i cannot find the manufacturer information on the pc
   and i myself have forgotten it
   
   if i go to the properties of the drive it gets classes as a cd drive manufactured by standard disk drives which doesnt exist
   
   any help you can offer will be deeply appreciated
