how to burn a dvd movie with a cd burner

does anybody know how to do this
i downloaded a movie then i was told to get winavi and convert the avi to svcd and use nero to burn it

is there any other way

 

i think you need a dvd burner.
there cheao these days so just go and buy one

 

Yup..you can get a good DVD burner for like $40 bucks or under..

 

the only way i know how to do this and make it work is to buy a divx dvd player or you could go buy a dvd burner for 29.99 dollars on tigerdirect.com

goman007..Absolutely great..In Nero,select DVD-ROM(ISO).Add your movies & burn..Remember they have to be [Divx,Xvid,AVI]or they can be just raw Mpegs around 700to850megs ea.about [5movies][CVCD's,Xvcd,s]etc
