Since I have purchased a new Cd writer I get this message with VCD's only and not with audio CDs. I did a search on this website and read the following

'You upgraded with Adaptec ASPI? It has overwritten the Ahead ASPI. Get the Ahead ASPI from Nero.com and copy it to Nero directory'

BUT HOW DO I DO THIS ??

I am a novice so please help

    Thanking you

    Hey

Thanx mate. I tried the download but my problem still lingers. Whenever I copy VCD's I get the error

    "Illegal mode for this track"

I got the above solution on this website. I tried nero's site and they have mentioned that all I need to do is re-install nero from another site.

I did follow their advice but still the same problem.

    Any ideas ??

    System :

    win xp
    900 hz
    20 gb
    256 ddr ram
    dell inspiron 2500

    Thanx

VCD is a MODE2/XA disc. Which procedure did you use to copy it? You should 'copy disc' and have MODE2 switched on burning options.

Tried that too, no luck !

Am getting tired and frustrated now.

Is there any other software available to copy VCD's ?

    Thanx
